INSTITUTO MARQUÈS RESULTS LAST SEMESTER
The data shown below correspond to the results submitted to the Health Department of Catalonia within the FIV-CAT program (the initials FIV stand for “Fecundación In Vitro” or IVF, In Vitro Fertilization, and the initials CAT stand for Catalonia, one of the Autonomous Commnunities of Spain). Therefore, this is an official registry of the IVF data audited by a governmental organization. These data can be audited by independent accountants if patients’ anonymity is protected.
Instituto Marquès is a leading assisted reproduction referral center that treats patients coming over from 52 different countries. A high percentage of patients that are seen at our Centre have tried from 8 up to 16 years to achieve a pregnancy in their countries or abroad, experiencing up to 15 failed attempts.
The figures of patients we treated are reported below:
Average infertility/sterility time: 4.6 years
Average number of treatments done in other Centres: 3.8 IVF cycles.
In spite of dealing with such diffcult cases, we provide the following results:

This includes the transfer of fresh embryos as well as the possible transfers of frozen embryos.
Only pregnancies shown by scan are counted. Biochemical pregnancies are not counted.
