The data shown below correspond to the results submitted to the Health Department of Catalonia within the FIV-CAT program (the initials FIV stand for “Fecundación In Vitro” or IVF, In Vitro Fertilization, and the initials CAT stand for Catalonia, one of the Autonomous Commnunities of Spain). Therefore, this is an official registry of the IVF data audited by a governmental organization.
Instituto Marqués is a leading assisted reproduction referral center in Europe. Therefore, a high percentage of patients that are seen at our Center usually have had multiple IVF failures in other centers.
* In these patients, the number of embryos is smaller since PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis) was performed almost systematically.
